Will O' the Wisp is one of the most beautiful graphic novels I've ever seen. When it arrived in the mail and I unpacked it, my draw just dropped.

I thought it might be trippy, as it was published in during a time of some rather trippy books, sporting a nude woman on the cover riding a giant beetle of some sort, with me reading it in hopes of seeing a will-o-the-wisp, something not often encountered in books (at least by me)/5.

Will o' the Wisp Books is a very small publisher that Louis Jenkins started to self-publish his work. He has lent the name to several very worthy books and joint projects, but does not read or accept unsolicited manuscripts or proposals for publication. Yet even when making such allowances, this book is simply offensive.

In many series from this era men call women of whom they are fond "my dear child." Men marry their cousins. Couples marry young. However, in this book the love interest of the protagonist is an immature, damaged, twisted teen who is acting out and simply a brat/5(6).
